Hi I’m Larry Nabors. I was born in Akron Ohio. I have lived here in Wellington since 97. I am a retired Air Traffic Controller. I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, that means I put on armor and I hit people in medieval fighting. I Have a wife of 37 years, as of this writing and four sons. I decided to take up writing in my retirement. I will post periodic stuff. I hope you like it.
I have been writing since the 1990's. My collection contains about 150 short-short stories and poems. In 1997 I was asked to write for the South Euclid Historical Society a portion on education to update their orginal publication dated 1974.
My passion for writing has its roots in my love for reading. As far back as I remember, my nose has always been in a book. Charles T. ("Chuck") Mathias --- I am an Ohio native, born in 1934. An A.B. in English led to a Juris Doctor degree. I have had a lifelong passion for reading and writing especially poetry in my later years. I write a weekly homily for over 150 email friends. My poems have appeared in several poetry reviews. In addition to my volunteer work as a permanent deacon, I enjoy woodworking, nature and singing in a Barbershop chorus and church choir.
